Recently, Panama inDesign had the opportunity to develop some really cool contests/ sweepstakes using Facebook and North Social. Panama Travel Group, Panama’s premier travel agency, acquired an account with North Social and we began personalizing this for their use. The first application they used was Sweepstakes, which is a Facebook application that uses a landing pages to make a person “like” the Facebook Fan page and then sign up to their newsletter.
The Sweepstake app is a great way to increase your Fans. Additionally, with North Social, you can create your own subscribers list of people who apply to these sweepstakes. You can send out email blasts to your subscribers to export your list to your regular email marketing system.
North Social has a built in CMS that you can update right from your Facebook account using Facebook Connect.
